Vanessa Hudgens is soaring into a new chapter in her life. The ‘High School Musical’ star, 34, tied the knot with her fiance Cole Tucker on Saturday, December 2, in Tulum, Mexico, sources confirm to PEOPLE. The couple announced their engagement in February of this year and shared photos from a Paris trip and a bachelorette party that accompanied the announcement. The “Say OK” singer and the Colorado Rockies player, 27, have been together since late 2020 when they first sparked dating rumors.
In May 2021, the Spring Breakers actor opened up about their relationship on The Drew Barrymore Show, revealing that she and the baseball star first met on a Zoom meditation call. She recalled, “I was able to kind of slip into his DMs, and then we were able to have a conversation that led to us hanging out.” She also said she had always expected to get married by a certain age but realized she didn’t need to when she found the right person.
Over the weekend, photos of Hudgens posing on a beach in a white dress fueled rumors that the pair had made things official. Former HSM costar Monique Coleman then added clips of a tropical setting to her Instagram Story on Saturday, further sparking speculation the duo had wed.
Reps for both Hudgens and Tucker, 27, have yet to respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment. However, the couple hasn’t shared any statement either. They are the latest celebrities to tie the knot this year. Others include singers Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, as well as actresses Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson.
