Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were seen arriving in London together on Sunday amid rumors of a romance between the two. The 62-year-old action star and the 36-year-old actress were spotted at an airport after getting out of Tom’s helicopter- after returning from Madrid, Spain.
Ana was clad in a leather jacket and blue jeans while carrying her dog Elvis and walking her other pooch Salsa. Cruise had on a white polo short under a pea coat with dark slacks. This is the third time the pair have been spotted together in London since February.
Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas love a helicopter ride so much that this is their second time taking the trip together in two months. On Valentine’s Day, they were spotted grabbing dinner in Soho, London, sparking rumors that the two were dating.
The Oscar nominee and the Cuban-born actress were mobbed by fans during their evening out and stopped to take pictures as a crowd formed around them. While the date itself may have seemed like sparks were flying, a source revealed that Cruise and de Armas ‘appeared to have no romantic connection’ and the two were ‘just friends.’
Actually, the insider shared, the meal was more of a business dinner, noting that the actors were ‘discussing potential collaborations down the line.
On their second outing together- this time in March- the pair arrived in London in a helicopter, sending the romance mill into overdrive once again. That time, an insider gave a bit more insight into the business aspect of Cruise and de Armas’ relationship with the outlet noting that the two are ‘not dating but instead teaming up on an upcoming project,’ which has not yet been name.
As per the publication, director Doug Liman was also in attendance with Cruise and de Armas at the time. “Everything with Tom and Ana is innocent. They are hanging out to talk about future movies that they could do together,’ the insider said.
“One of those ideas is the Days of Thunder sequel that Tom wants to get off the ground. It is currently in its infancy.” “He’s talking (to Paramount) about and it’s going to be what comes together first in terms of a script. It depends on the idea and, ultimately, the script.”
Both stars have big summer movies this year: Cruise’s upcoming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning hits theaters May 23, and de Armas’ Ballerina, a continuation of the John Wick franchise, is in theaters June 6.
