Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the renowned music mogul and founder of Bad Boy records now faces five new lawsuits accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting both men and women. The claims span from 2001 to 2022 in incidents allegedly taking place in New York City, the Hamptons and Miami. He now faces more than 31 civil complaints.
In the new lawsuits, the vast majority of accusers accused that they were sexually assaulted at parties hosted by the rapper, with one incident allegedly taking place at the producer’s White Party in 2004. Another accuser claims in his lawsuit that he was assaulted by Combs and his associates at a casting call for a music video in Manhattan.
A fifth lawsuit involves and individual who accused Diddy of drugging him at the rapper’s New York City home. The details in this case echo the earlier allegations of drugging and sexual assault. This addition to the list of lawsuits has drawn even more attention to the music mogul’s alleged misconduct at high-profile events.
“As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process,” Erica Wolff, an attorney for Combs, said in a statement. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone- man or woman, adult or minor.”
All five new lawsuits have been filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents multiple plaintiffs in the ongoing legal battel against Combs. At this juncture, Combs is yet to publicly comment on the allegations or the lawsuits.
In a statement on Instagram, Buzbee wrote that he expects to file new cases against Combs on a weekly basis. The new legal challenges are added to the long-running controversy surrounding Diddy, who has faced similar accusations in the past.
This week, Buzbee was sued for extortion by an anonymous celebrity who claims the attorney falsely and maliciously roped him into the allegations against Combs. Buzbee denied the allegations in that complaint.
All accusers in the new lawsuit filed anonymously as either a ‘Jane Doe’ or a ‘John Doe.’ The two women claim they were 17 and 18 years old, respectively, at the time they were allegedly drugged and assaulted by the Bad Boy Records founder.
Combs, who is currently languishing in a New York jail, has been facing serious legal issues following numerous allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking throughout his career.
