The world may be divided between Beyonce and Taylor Swift fans, but the two music icons were all smiles as they walked the glitzy red carpet for the London premiere of Beyonce’s Renaissance concert film. Taylor, also the star of her tour movie earlier this year, stepped out to support Beyonce on Thursday night at the event, wearing a sleek silver Balmain dress featuring sequins up to her knees. Beyonce was dressed in a black suit with her hair pulled back into a half-up bouffant, while Blue Ivy looked stunning in a black off-the-shoulder Versace dress and slim sunglasses.
Beyonce seemed to be in full mom mode at the event, ensuring her eldest daughter was not too cold while posing for photos on the red carpet. The Cuff It hitmaker, 42, rubbed her daughter’s shoulders as the chilly London weather left the 11-year-old too cold to stay outside for too long. In a video uploaded to her Instagram account, Beyonce asks her daughter if she is cold before pausing to hug the teen. The proud mama later posted a sweet tribute to her daughter on her Instagram, writing: ‘I love my baby. I’m so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She is so smart, kind, and confident.’
In the video posted by her mother, Beyonce can be heard talking to her daughter about how she used to get criticism from critics after some of her early dance routines on her mother’s Renaissance tour, but that only served to motivate her. ‘Blue was horrified to read some of the social media comments about her performance, but that only fueled her fire to continue practicing and never to let anyone diminish her or her dreams,’ Beyonce wrote in the post.

The Renaissance premiere in London also saw Beyonce make a special appearance with her sister Solange and her twins Rumi and Sir, who wore matching white dresses for the occasion. The show-stopping premiere was the latest event to celebrate Beyonce’s massive success on her 2023 Renaissance tour. The film focuses on the production and execution of Beyonce’s show-stopping concerts. It even features behind-the-scenes footage from the singer’s recovery from a knee injury and a hometown visit to Houston.
Guests who attended the private screening included Destiny’s Child co-stars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and musician Will..am, Vogue’s former editor Edward Enniful and actress Vivica A Fox, as well as Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles and friends including Lizzo, Janelle Monae and Lori Harvey. The acclaimed tour documentary will be released in theaters on December 1. Beyonce recently told her fans to ‘dance, sing, laugh and cry’ when watching the film. The multi-platinum superstar, named an honorary member of the Royal Academy last month, is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the upcoming Independent Spirit Awards on January 24. The singer’s film career has earned her five Oscar nominations, four Grammy awards, and a Golden Globe nod.
