Hollywood star Adam Driver and his wife and actor Joanne Tucker recently welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The actor shared the happy news for the first time during a dress rehearsal of Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
The couple tied the knot in 2013 after meeting at Juilliard in the early ’00s. They had a secret destination wedding in June of that year. The pair share a six-year-old son.
In a recent KACZ radio interview, the Ferrari actor spoke about how his wife helps him to “remain a normal person… amidst all [the] Hollywood craziness.” While the pair has been mostly private about their personal lives, they have made a few cryptic references in the past. In 2016, Driver joked that his young son had no interest in watching his movies.
Although they’ve kept a tight lid on their daughter’s arrival, Page Six captured photos of Joanne sporting what appeared to be a visible bump in February. The photoshoot took place outside the couple’s New York apartment, where Joanne wore a puffy brown jacket that she left unzipped over a light gray sweater and body-fitted black pants, while Adam sported a long-sleeved white shirt and a black hat with short black socks. They were carrying a large bag of groceries, and a baby reclined bather in the photos.
During the dress rehearsal of this weekend’s SNL episode, the pair were also photographed together. They posed in the same outfits as they were seen in the previous photo shoot. The pair also shared a selfie to mark the occasion. The video was uploaded to Instagram on Sunday.
It’s unclear if they plan to share any other pictures of their newborn daughter. However, the couple has been pretty active on social media. They have several Instagram followers and post various content on their accounts.
The actor’s latest post comes just a few days after he performed his opening monologue for SNL this past weekend. His wife, SNL cast member Joanne, and SNL creator Lorne Michaels joined him.
During the show, Driver was not only hilarious but also very moving. He opened up about his struggles with depression and anxiety while also expressing his gratitude for his family. Afterward, he told the audience that this was one of his favorite moments as an SNL host. Lastly, the 40-year-old actor ended his monologue with an emotional performance of John Denver’s classic song, “Country Roads.” Check it out!
