Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan are enjoying their time in UK with Prince Abdul Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunei. Hussein took to Instagram to share a group photo of the four of them on Tuesday, Jan, 28. “With our dear friends Prince Abdule Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunie,” the Crown Prince captioned the post.
In the photo, the foursome could be seen posing proudly, with Princess Rajwa looking absolutely beautiful in a chic all-black ensemble while Princess Anisha stunned in a pale blue tweed blazer and black cigarette trousers.
Prince Abdul Mateen also shared the same picture on his respective Instagram account, writing, ‘Wonderful seeing our dear friends, Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa.” The reason behind the royal couples’ meeting remains under wraps, but it is likely they enjoyed dinner at an exclusive London hotspot.
Mateen, 33, and Anisha Rosnah, 30, tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, in January 2024. Mateen is the 10th child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the world’s longest-reigning monarch and once the richest man on the planet. Due to his position in the family, Mateen is unlikely to ever ascend to the throne.

Al-Hussein, 30, and Rajwa, 30, married in June 2023. The royal couple welcomed a baby daughter, Princess Iman, last August. Prince Al-Hussein is the heir to the throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He is the eldest son of King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah.
While in the UK, Prince Hussein also caught up with another royal friend: Prince Willima. The Wales’s’ social media accounts shared a video of Prince William welcoming Hussein to Windsor Castle, while the Jordanian royal posted photos on his Instagram. “With my dear friend His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle today,” Hussein wrote in the caption.
The pair have known each other for decades, thanks to the bond shared between their fathers, King Charles III and King Abdullah II. Fellow Sandhurst graduate, they have both learnt throughout recent years to balance life as heir to a throne with raising a young family.
Naturally, it is believed that they discussed statecraft, but they probably had a lot of catching up to do. After all, they last time they saw each other was in 2023, when Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, flew over to Amman for the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa, in the gardens of Zahran Palace.
